Fresh spell of rains and t-storm in north, relief from heat and fun where as trouble for farmers

 


After a short break in the northern India the rains and cool weather is back. This brings joy and comfort for the urban cities whereas trouble for the rural sector and farmers. The t-storms to bring hailstorms and that will in return, damage the standing wheat and other standing crops. Lets talk about how will be the Western Disturbance ‘Mazin’ or WD-M7 has in store for us.

•The 7th WD of spring has started affecting Northern and parts of Western and Central India. The system is strong and rated 8/10 and this WD has smaller Jetstream dip where as the previous WD (WD-Meh) had a huge jetstream dip which extended all the way upto Southern India. Now, Lets dive deeper into the effect and weather synopsis of this system.

Weather synopsis 

•Active Western Disturbance rated 8/10 and named ‘Mazin’ will be affecting parts of India during 23-26th March

•It induced CC or its secondary to form over North Rajasthan and adjoining areas

•Instability in lower atmosphere to fuel convective clouds formation

•Moisture feed from Arabian Sea


Weather effects

•23rd: Scattered light-moderate showers and thunderstorms to occur in the parts of Gujarat, Rajasthan and few areas of Central India and in addition the weak clouds from the formation in the Rajasthan and NE Rajasthan to move toward some areas of South Haryana and adjoining areas this will bring a short spell of light rain from the fizzling clouds

•24th: Good widespread atmospheric conditions are there for formation of moderate to intense thunderstorms in Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, and scattered storms in rest of Rajasthan and other areas of Northern India. The formations to occur in morning but they will be not very active and then new formations to occur by late afternoon and they will be intense and they will being scattered moderate to heavy rains with hailstorms and gusty winds in North Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab and these formations then will be moving NorthEast-East towards rest of Haryana, Delhi and ncr and W UttarPradesh. Similar activities in Ncr too

•25th: Similar conditions as 24th March but activities will shift more eastwards towards Delhi, W UttarPradesh. Rains likely during early hours and then late afternoon 

26th: Activities will reduce from Northern India but they will remain in the foothills and some localised developments in the plains
